saints hallelujah Vll
WHA WHA WHA. Hahahahahaha...the concert did not waste my money after all. Saints alumni band must be the best alumni band in Singapore la. And I thought TJ alumni's Macchu Picchu was power enough alr. THEN came along SAB with their mind blowing version of Fate of the Gods. And Global Variations. AND Amazing Grace. All the songs they played were fantastic la. Abit of wrong notes and tuning here and there, but WOW. I still think Saints Hallelujah Vl was more musical though. Their rendition of Jesu, Joy of a Man's Desiring was WHOA.
But what the hell la. 100 strong band. Whose alumni is so loyal for so many thousands of years you tell me. Plus this year's repertoire is rather interesting. So many nice nice pieces...So many pro pro players...Hai. *swoons* Hahahahaha...
SAS' Merry Widow cannot compare to TWE's la...the picc player. -.-" Although louder than Pinyi, he's even more out of tune that she is. (Pinyi are you reading this??) This guy right. Hold one note, can go flat until the next note la!!! During the dreaded solo of yours somemore. BLEAGH. Pinyi's my powerful picc player okay!! Don't see just because she girl then show off your volume hor! Quality beats quantity anytime. (: Plus our flute section balance is so much nicer. Heh heh. Thanks to the GREAT SL who brought out all the nice nice chords. HAHAHAHAH! Bleagh. =/
