ooh yea. Life's great.

Life's great at the moment. This is going to one helluva boring post, so please heed this warning and stop reading it here. Blog hop somewhere else, I don't care. Hahaha. Actually, now that I come to think of it, the beginning sentence merely serves to catch your attention. Other than that, life's been boring really. Boring, but great. Greatly boring. I'm rambling again. So many things to complete and worry about (try CHINESE and ORAL PRESENTATION), but I'm too bored to worry about them. Well, not really. I came online to check on Wen Yang's part of the OP, but couldn't really do it because well, long story. My life's so boring la. I realised that for the past week? month? I've only been living day by day. It's like I don't remember any upcoming events until they creep up and bite me in the bum. Take for example, next week. CHINESE IS NEXT FRIDAY, and I don't freaking know what to do with myself in preparation for the A level exam. *breathes noisily* AND, in the following week, CLASS CHALET!!! (: and ORAL PRESENTATION. So spoiler right. Nevermind, we'll have fun in the chalet presenting to everybody. Heh.

week long feast...

(: Seventeen is starting to turn out to be even better than 16. Behold! I had a week long feast, starting last Sat, with all my dearest friends celebrating my birthday with me.

Went to TM yesterday to watch The Prestige with Asri and Pinyi...It's a nice show people, just as good as I expected. Although it was abit gross at some point, and also the fact that I was misled to think that Borden was gay or something. Oops. Anyhow. Asri told us that he'd take some time in the toilet after the movie, and me, being ever gullible, believed him. After walking round and round the top floor, Pinyi finally led me to the open air pavillion thingy. AND THEN I saw Asri with the cake. The cake is AWESOME!!! Blueberry cheesecake. Trust me, it was scrumpilious. I am not a cheesecake person by virtue, and for me to say that, WOW! *licks lips* I'm not gonna tell you guys where to buy, in case there's no more for me when I want it. Heh. Just joking la, it's bought from The Royals. Fitting for me, the empress dowager.

Today. The band (TJ band), sang me a birthday song and gave me a birthday bread?? Hahahaha....imgaine the loaf, plus candles stuck on top. I'd put up the picture, but Xinling has it. I didn't even know the band knows my birthday!! A totally nice surprise. (:

ice cream fanatic

Yesterday's ice cream outing (if you can call it an outing, it being only downstairs), was fun!! Hahahahaha....I even gave up watching the supposedly exciting part of Princess Hours to eat ice cream okay!!! (: Okay....so. Went down to meet Chun Han la. That ABCD, said he couldn't come because he was having flu. So. The 2 of us went to one of the provision shops. Bought one tub of 1.5 litre ice cream. Managed to finish it CAN. o.O It's either we're both ice cream fanatics (I know I am), or we did it through sheer will. Heh. I realised, once again, for the ten thousandth time, that growing up with your neighbours is an experience to behold. All of you who stay "blissfully" unaware of your next door neighbour, please make an effort to go interact with them and cultivate the old kampung comaradrie spirit. (: Make friends la people. It's so fun la.

For example, I would advertise to the world Chun's embarassing incident this morning, but I shall not cos he'll just slaughter me on the spot. If he knew la. Heh. Really really embarassing, that's all you need to know. Call me early in the morning just to borrow......

Argh. Just got viciously attacked by the computer table and the dining room chair while rushing to close the windows. (It's raining.) Must be he had a premonition that I was critising him behind his back. Hahahahahaha. Ulp. =/

Hahahahaha...the 17th year of my life started the same as my 16th. Wake up early in the morning, brush my teeth, wash my face, change, and head off for school with a smile plastered on my face. Okay. Lame.

A great big thank you to all those lovely people who remembered my birthday!!(: Totally made my day. I couldn't stop smiling in school. Which, as usual, became the butt of some more neighbour jokes. *dramatic sigh* (I'm rather amused actually.)

Yet another happy day!! Hahaha...although school's drowsily boring as usual, I'm still happy to go to school to talk rubbish with friends. (: Though people like Yi Ling and Fiona are the most un-rubbish people on Earth. Still.

Okay la WEN YANG. Since what I wrote about you is supposedly incorrect. Shall amend to make you happy k...Wen Yang is a highly entertaining boy. (this sounds like something out of a primary school report card) He MUGS!! WOW. I never knew that, but apparently he does. His results also goes to show la of course. 50++...so pro. He is also a master debater, and a genius story teller. Don't bother argueing with him 'cos he'll ALWAYS win. Especially when it comes to stuff like "You are going to marry your neighbour?" Right Wen Yang?? *smirks* ANYTHING you say is liable to be used as ammunition, so don't bother retorting. He has a very unique sense of imagination! Things like my sleeping time can also be used as suaning topics. Learn from the master, people. (: This is all true right Wen Yang. TOTALLY.

-.-" Do you see this face CLOVIS? Hahahaha...he asked me to blog about him la. Talk about thick-skinned people. SA seems to breed them. (Seems to me la.) ANYWAY...what to say leh?? Our share and care pro. If we ever had an exam for share and care, he'll get A. No problem. Got fan club some more right Clovis! tsk tsk. CARING and SHARING rocks. LOL!(: Clovis....and his eating cheese burger mantra. Stupid la! So funny can.

1. Peel open the barbecue sauce.
2. Add a packet of chilli, and use a fry to MIX. (this is DISGUSTING by the way)
3. Unwrap cheeseburger and remove the pickles, even though it gives the flavour.
4. POUR on the bbq-chilli sauce mixture! (when nobody is looking)
5. Plop the top half of the bun back on, press gently on it and say "it moves!!" (for those of you who don't get it, sorry la. Inside joke.)
6. Wrap the burger like a baby and eat.

day of reckoning...

Okay. Just a few agendas on my mind right now...nothing exciting's happening to me anymore by the way, so don't get your hopes too high that something dramatic is up for viewing.

Shoutout to Clovis! He wrote a short tribute to everyone in our class!! (: Thanks Clovis! Hahaha...it's such lovely people (clovis, lovely?! =p) in the class that really make me so happy whenever I step out of the house at 0715 everyday. Keep going k Clovis! You totally missed the best part of today la! Mr Ang PRAISED you. And you weren't there to hear it. Lol! Your Math had the 2nd highest improvement la!! 20++ marks improvement...good job for promos...

Actually...most people in the class made tremendous improvement. Like Wen Yang. Who's a blithering idiot sometimes, but is one of the more entertaining people in class. He, with all of his slackiness, managed to scrape like an average of around 50 for every subject. Bleagh.

Abby too!! And of course, Xiu Ru. Both of them scared me witless when they hit the books. Everyday mugging mugging....but good job anyway! BIG improvement! Hahahaha...

okay. I just realised this is starting to sound like Clovis' tribute thingy. So. Shall generalise from now on. For pro people like Daniel and Christianne...no comment la. Too pro for words.

For those who's feeling down! Don't be, 'cos the whole class is rooting for you guys! Shit happens sometimes, to everyone and not just you, so cheer up and try to look for the silver lining in that black cloud. I know it's hard, but it's there.

Moving on...I just realised that results day is the time when the class is the most bonded, but also the most divided. Doesn't make sense, I know, but yea. Results bring out the best and worst in people. Sharing of trials and jubilations...No one is really sad or happy alone.

Random story: I totally had a most hilarious start to the day. Let me tell you, being in the recycling scheme in Leo Club is no walk in the park for people like me. Lugging 10kg for 400m from my house to school is no bliddy joke. I struggled and heaved, switching hands every 5m. Walked past this totally gorgeous Siamese stray who glared balefully at me. "Whatcha lookin' at pussy! I'll sterilise you if you continue mocking at me!!" Okay. Maybe I didn't really threaten the cat like that, but well. I was sorta grumpy by then. So. Reached school with all my fingers in place..and then! The TA block was ominously empty of people. @#$%^&*! My fingers were hollering for help by then, so plonked the stupid phonebooks down on the floor and took out my phone. THEN, John decides to appear around the FAR END of the bliddy block. ZZZZ......So I picked up the heavy weight, and he promptly started smirking-laughing-um-chio-ing at me. Thanks. At least he had grace enough to help me carry the burden to the end of the block. *faints*.

Oh. Another random story: Me, Christianne and Fiona walked home from school as usual. Christianne usually takes the bus, but since Yi Ling has declared WAR! and absolutely refuses to take the bus with her, she has to walk to the interchange. (: I'm joking about the war thing, by the way. Way exaggerated. Peaceful people. Anyway, back to the story. Halfway to the interchange, we so-very-nearly got attacked by this flock of mynahs. Who mysteriously flew in this circle before landing in the exact place they were before. -.-" Strange phenomenen. Then...20m on. This chameleon made Christianne stop short. Ever the graceful tai-tai, she just had to grab us in panic. THEN fiona had to scream, which made me scream too. ME. Who has NEVER screamed in my whole life. Hahahahaha...looks like only Fiona has this effect on my nervous system.

Hazy skies and lousy headaches may plague me, but it'll still NOT spoil my mood! I've absolutely no freaking idea WHY I'm feeling so sprightly, (even though I'd failed my econs CSQ, which I totally expected to) and I feel a little guilty because I know that some of my friends are really down right now over promos results and all of that. Moving on...working hard WORKS. For me anyway. I've improved improved improved! And I feel really satisfied and you know, serene. *smiles absently* I've worked harder at math than anytime else in my whole entire LIFE. And it worked! I've decided that I like studying from now on. HA! Yea right.

YES YES YES!!!!

This I've just GOT to blog about. Life's great, especially when you receive a really unexpected gift. (: Today's just got to be my lucky day. I'm ONE H2 pass away from promotion!! (: I can't stop smiling. Well...either that or 1 H1 pass away from promotion. Doesn't really make a difference!! BUT....I've got 2 Bs under my belt already!!! (Well. Not counting moderation. They ARE going to moderate. See?? Lucky me!!!)

I did surprisingly well for Math. OMG. OMG. THAT I can't believe. I'm jigging about in glee right now. *jigs happily* Hahahahaha...Thanks to my tuition teacher!! Oh my GOSH. I'd better treat him or something. (:

PLUS PLUS PLUS. 2nd shock of the day: I topped the class for chinese composition. WOW! HAhahahaha...guess what. I wrote an essay titled "flowers" HEH. Thanks to all the people who gave me that nickname since primary school. I totally started sniggering under my breath when I saw that topic. I suppose the girl on my left must have edged away from the seemingly dangerous psycopath laughing leacherously beside her. (:

Floating down from the stratosphere clouded with the bliddy haze from neighbouring Indonesia...food for thought. Wen Yang said to me today, "you blog like a different person". (Meaning: I blog like a different person than that 32/06 knows in school. Better English and all that.) Yea. My retort: "Imagine if I spoke to you like I blogged. You would just laugh at me." Hahahahahahaha...

Isn't that true though...it sparked yet another train of thought in my already cluttered mind...Don't we act the way people expect us to?? Deviating from that expectation allows you to earn the dubious label of being weird. I can name a few people off the top of my head who staunchly subscribe to NOT being weird. Not even distinct. But I digress. I don't think I really blog with good English though...more like with an uncomfortable absence of las, lehs, lors, and mahs. Yea...I don't think it's fair though. That we ostracise people who are different. I don't mean that I don't do this, mind. There are a few people who really test your patience. And pisses me off. But I try. I think.

TJ open house...

Okay. Open house wasn't exactly an EXCITING WOW! event probably due to the fact that I was super tired. BUT, it got more fun toward the end. Which Mish and company didn't enjoy cos they left early. =/ Hahahaha...Mass dance was FUN!!! Although I can't dance for nuts. Ya...anyway. I made a new friend today!!! Hahahaha. Mad. Chin Liang, is apparently very 'zai' at both violin and piano!! WHOA. All these musically talented youngsters are taking over the world!!! (: Which, hopefully, includes me. But I know I'm not that good, so forget it. *waves dismissively* (Nah. All give you all. Give you chance.) =p

Headaches are a menace. So's Project Work. Let me tell you this. Whoever came up with the proposal for the MOE to implement it is one big pain in the neck. He probably has some degree from some university for some ulu course, hands in an impressive proposal, and BAM! project work for JC students. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. PROJECT WORK'S LIKE MY FAVOURITE SUBJECT! WOW! (:

Oral Presentation was a farcial business. I brought the written report to read from, and guess what. It was sadly pulverized by my fidgety hands. Never put anything made of paper into my hands, I tell you. Fold, unfold, fold, unfold. Poor piece of paper that used to be a tree. HAI!!! And the spasmordic ums and ahs that plagued my speech...DARN.

xiao bai and friends

*sigh* This post is for the benefit of people like Jess and Marcus, who stay blissfully unaware of the story that lies behind my neighbour. Which, our dear Anonymous fellow dug up and brought to light. Or else it would have just stayed behind the curtains and rotted. Hai. SO. Here goes.

Okay la Jess....Chun Han is just one of my neighbours. He lives in the next block. Same block as Ren Liang by the way. My next door neighbour is ABCD (privacy shall maintained cos I dunno how he'll react to seeing his name plastered all over my blog. Haha) SO....La...ti...DOO!!! (okay lame.)

Anyway. I grew up with ABCD and Chun Han la....Like for a long long long time. Since the time of the dinosaurs. I grew up with Kris too by the way. Known each other for more than half our lives. Hahaha...so...the 4 of us. Happy Family ting ting!

what the hell....

AH.....perfect BLISS. Exams are FINALLY OVER. Granted, it ended rubbishly. But still, it's over and done with, and I can bade it a oh-so-fond farewell. Exams do not sit well with me.

Take for example the very last paper. Which was today. I forgot about the 3rd section of the paper. Which consisted of one pathetic question. I ended up doing it in 5 minutes. *sigh* PLUS. I had to sit all by my lonely self in the last row. Then the door open close open close open close....ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!! *agitated agitated* (haha) But. As I said, it's OVER.

5 Things that make Singaporean youths Singaporean:
1. chionging to take postcards everytime a new batch comes in on fri.
2. using the glass barricade at city hall interchange as a mirror.
3. visiting toilets as an army.
4. sampling all the fast food outlets in Singapore.
5. wearing spectacles at a tender age.

I myself admit GUILTY! to number 1 on the list. Hahahah. My friends and I never fail to squash ourselves into the small alcove under LT1 every friday after PE to grab those postcards. Hahahaha...auntie behaviour. I just can't believe how INSANE we can be. TODAY. We so THICK-SKINNEDLY walked into this um, school thingy?? on the way to Cathay JUST to take the post-cards. *grins unabashedly*

MATH, was nothing short of bombastically trickily complicated. As usual. With Christianne shaking on one side, Xiu Ru crossing out stuff vigorously on the other, my many papers fluttering around in the wind from the air-conditioning, these didn't help at all.

On the bright side though. My paper wasn't as blank as it was during the JCTs. Which, of course, I presume is a good thing.

Life is beautiful...even with it's many flaws.

It NEVER ceases to amaze me (in a not so nice way) when people reveals their true colours. Why are true colours always so ugly??

Friends are but another aspect of life. Treasure and appreciate them. Treating them like dirt is definately out of the question.

Why do some people seem to have personalities of a gorilla??

Why do people not be on time anymore??

To be or not to be independent (or dependent), that is the precise question. I have chosen to be relatively independent, although I do depend on a lucky (or not haha) few to give me the solace I need. It's no wonder I have very little patience for people who cling like a leech. One of my many flaws....being overly impatient. Bleagh. I'm working on it though, so help me.

Just a random post...been thinking about these issues for no particular reason. Just ponders.
