the big cleanup!!! and it's not even for MY house.
Cleanup of Old Folk's Home today!!! Super drama I tell you. Plus, super tiring. I've developed muscles, and let me tell you. It's uneven la. My right bicep is bigger than the left. That's not to say that my muscles are HUGE. On the contrary, it's probably as big as a grape. (:
But whatever. I spent the entire morning scrubbing the floor and cleaning the windows. And there were hell LOT of windows okay. (Okay la, not so many, but the art of exaggeration
must be utilised to its fullest.) I was bossed around by the resident cleaners, (whose accent is TERRIBLE. We huh-ed so many thousand times, it's part of every sentence I now utter.) bossed around by the patron?... bossed around by the old folks themselves. There was this old man who kept pointing us in the general direction of areas we hadn't cleaned. He was clearly enjoying it la...lol. But he was quite nice about it though. Not in a bossy kinda way.
So. Finally after hours of rigorous cleaning, we left, only to be accosted by this taxi driver, who needed help kickstarting his vehicle. A group of girls just chiong-ed there and pushed like nobody's business. AMAZONS!!! Hahahahahaha...I was so intriuged, I forgot to take pictures until the drama was over and gone. -.-"
Third exciting thing that happened to me was...when I was on the way to meet Cheryl, Wan Hsin and Christianne to go SHOPPING!!! (: There was this secondary school guy doing flag day...and I was standing BEHIND him at the traffic light. For some reason, he decided to turn around and say rudely, "WANT TO DONATE OR NOT?!" WHA LAU EH! Want people to donate still so rude. I looked at him and said, "NEVER SAY PLEASE!" in a voice that matched his tone perfectly. (: (
shiok man) Lucky we both have a sense of humour okay. We laugh laugh laugh...and I nearly made a new friend. His friend also nearly make friends with me cos he took advantage of the situation. I ended up donating to BOTH of them CAN.
GAH.
