Aunty now, teenager Later.
This post is to satisfy Jess, who unfortunately got a somewhat exaggerated version of my unglam auntyness. Whee!! Here goes!
There was a career fair erm, let me see. Last wednesday? Which I so TOTALLY didn't plan on going, but since I had time after lunch, I went to have a look.
Just a little bit of background info: I had PW that day, and happened to be carrying 2 ring files. For those of you who don't know, ring files that are used in JC are FAT. SO. I had a little itsy bitsy bit of problem carrying them. (I dropped them 3 freaking times during lunch, and left them lying like little poor things in the baby chair in Mac. What does this show? Hahaha...I better not have a baby next time. The risk of leaving it in the baby chair is extremely HIGH. Poor thing.) But I digress.
Anyway. I went up to the hall...carrying the files horizontally in front of me. (Don't laugh okay. It's the most convenient position cos people won't cut in front of you suddenly) As I walked around, all the promoters held out freebies and pamphlets and a whole barrange of other stuff. AND since I was so OBVIOUSLY with my hands full, they CONVENIENTLY dumped everything on my file that was all too ready to receive those kind gifts (remember the horizontal position?).
In the end, most took pity on me (can you imagine?! The ATROSCITY!!! =D) AND provided me with paper bags. Even the teachers took one look at me and said "do you need help??" LOL. I ended up with 3 paper bags by the way. EXTREMELY unglam to bring home. Not to mention AUNTY. That's like the main reason why Jess is laughing at me being a irrepressible aunty. UGH.
